ST. MARY’S CELEBRATES 8TH ANNUAL
PIG ROAST SATURDAY!!!

Join us on Saturday, August 5th from 4 to 8 PM for the St. Mary’s Pig Roast!

There will be so much fresh food and fun. You won’t want to miss it! Advance meal tickets are $7 available on Tuesday or Friday at St. Mary's Office 7:00 AM - 5:00 or available at St. Peter on Wednesday or Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM The advance tickets are also available at Community Savings Bank in Bethel. Adult tickets are $9 when purchased at the event. Children 5 - 10 are $4 and under 4 are FREE!


What do you get for your hard earned moolah? A lot! Your meal includes your choice of pulled pork or chicken. (Bluegrass brats, metts and hot dogs are available as an alternative.)  Five sides include mac and cheese, baked beans, cole slaw, green beans and awesome sweet corn. Lemonade, iced tea or ice water and your choice of dessert is included. Soda is available for a nominal charge.


We are thinking of your comfort and are ready for rain or shine. If you prefer the air conditioning, the
Fr. Le
wis Parish Center will be open. If you enjoy eating outside, we will provide the huge tent with lots of tables and chairs.


The Pig Roast features beer from the Old Firehouse Brewery. Other brands are also available. All brands are at a nominal, extra charge.

 

This year will be our largest raffle ever! Purchase 1 ticket for $1, 6 tickets for $5 and 15 tickets for $10. Place the ticket in the bucket next to the item(s) you are interested in. One ticket will be drawn from that bucket for a winner of that item. The more chances you purchase and put in a single bucket, the increased odds of winning!


Here is other awesome news! Freddy's Frozen Custard will be available! You won't want to miss that!


Come and have some fun. Let's go “HOG WILD” and meet up with friends and family both new and old.


You can make this our best event ever by spreading the word. Proceeds from this event goes toward the St. Mary building fund. St. Peter's Parish Picnic

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 25th for St. Peter’s annual parish picnic!

This year’s Parish Picnic will also be a “Homecoming”. We are asking anyone that has ever been associated with St. Peter’s to come and renew old friendships. Former parishioners, students from the school, etc are all welcome. Please begin to spread the word of this upcoming event.


The brick area will be officially dedicated as part of the festivities. Watch the bulletin for additonal information.

Join our young adult ministry for a bonfire on June 30, 2017!  Enjoy a break from the busyness of life with some good food, good times, and good fellowship with other young adults, and a chance to get away and spend some time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.  All young adults, and seniors graduating this spring, are welcome to attend, so bring your friends!  The bonfire starts at 7:00pm at St. Mary's; there's no ending time.  And it's free!  For more info, please contact PJ Ehling at (513) 284-3154 or dreyouthpastor@gmail.com.

Please support our young people in prayer as they make the trip to Tampa, Florida to share the gospel with youth of that area.  We will be volunteering in a Catholic summer camp the whole week.  Please pray that our youth can share the gospel effectively, and come to a deeper understanding of their own vocation and awareness of God's plan for their lives.

Join our youth ministry program for an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship at St. Mary designed to take you deeper into your faith, focusing on a special spiritual topic through a lesson, group discussion, and prayer.  Be sure to join us and bring a friend!  We will meet in the parish offices from 11:30am-1:30pm; lunch will be provided.

Did someone say, "Canoe Trip?!"  Take a trip on the Little Miami River with the youth ministry on July 8th and experience the fun of a canoe trip for yourself!  We will go for a 6 mile trip (which isn't too long, but not too short), stop for ice cream, and grab a late lunch.  This trip is open to all youth entering grades 7-12 in the fall, and seniors who graduated this spring.  We will meet at St. Mary at 9:00am, and arrive back at 5:00pm.  Transportation will be provided.  Cost is $30.  Please sign up for the trip by contacting PJ Ehling by Sunday, July 2 at (513) 284-3154 or dreyouthpastor@gmail.com.

Join our youth ministry program for an awesome week of Vacation Bible School July 10-14!  We will discover the meaning of Baptism, and learn more about our own vocations through a week of water games!  To sign up for VBS, or for more info, contact PJ Ehling by June 25 at (513) 284-3154 or dreyouthpastor@gmail.com.  There is no cost for VBS, but donations are greatly appreciated to help offset costs.

Enjoy the last youth ministry event of the summer with a campout at St. Mary's!  We will meet at St. Mary's at 6:00pm, and enjoy an evening of games, food cooked over the fire, and some time for prayer before the Blessed Sacrament as we spiritually prepare for the coming school year.  The campout will end at 10:15am, in time for the 10:30 Mass at St. Mary.  This campout is open to all youth entering grades 7-12 in the fall, and seniors who graduated this spring.  Please sign up to go by contacting PJ Ehling by August 6 at (513) 284-3154 or dreyouthpastor@gmail.com.  This is the last high school youth ministry event open to the graduating class of 2017.
