PANCAKE & SAUSAGE BREAKFAST AT ST. PETER’S
The Men's Bible Study Group will be having their annual pancake & sausage breakfast at St. Peter's on August 11th following the 8:00 am Mass in the Fr. Kennedy Hall. Everyone is invited to join us for great food and fellowship. If you have attended in the past, you know it is ‘great food’ and ‘fellowship”. Please mark your calendars now and plan to attend. WATER, WATER, EVERYWHERE AND NOT A DROP TO DRINK! So the saying goes. But you can help others in need of this precious commodity. How crucial water is to our bodies, our well being, our harvest, our world. Without water we would be devastated. Could you walk miles to the nearest watering hole? Bath in a muddy river? Drink un-filtered water? We often take for granted the simple task of turning on a facet and having access to clean running water, flipping a light switch in a dark room to light our way around, and flushing a toilet to carry 

away waste water. Throughout Africa, there is a critical lack of clean water for drinking and sanitation. Almost one 

billion people do not have access to safe water. One billion if not more. Sr. Rita Sturwold of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur will speak about the need for clean water and electric in Africa at all our Masses the weekend of August 17/18. A special collection will be taken up to help the Sisters provide life-changing electricity and clean water to those less fortunate in Africa. 

Please be as generous as possible to help. 

PREP begins September 8th at both parishes!  Meet us for PREP at St. Mary in the Fr. Lewis Center, and youth ministry in the undercroft youth center at 11:00.  Meet us for PREP and youth ministry at St. Peter in Fr. Kennedy Hall at 9:00.  PREP ends at 12:30 at St. Mary and 10:30 at St. Peter. Kids can be picked up from PREP in the Fr. Lewis Center at St. Mary, and in the classrooms or Fr. Kennedy Hall at St. Peter.

Annual Farm Mass · September 13

On Friday, September 13, Bishop Binzer will celebrate the annual St. Martin Deanery Farm Mass at the home of St. Mary (Arnheim) parishioners Stephen and Janet Rockey.  Their farm is located at 12257 Purdy Rd., Sardinia, OH 45171.  

Bishop Binzer will also be presenting the first St. Martin Deanery Catholic Century Farms awards. The Mass will begin at 7:00 pm and will be followed by fellowship and refreshments. If possible, please bring a chair and a snack to share.  Everyone from everywhere is invited to attend!  For questions, please contact 937-446-2555.

On Saturday, August 24th, join us at St. Peter for a special 9 AM Mass where we will celebrate the feast of St. Bartholomew. 

Bartholomew was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus. He has also been identified as Nathanael or Nathaniel, who appears in the Gospel of John when introduced to Jesus by Philip, * although many modern commentators reject the identification of Nathanael with Bartholomew. 

G.R.A.C.E Women's Retreat

October 4 - 6th is the Women's Retreat Come and be refreshed! It is being held at Our Lady Of The Holy Spirit Center in Norwood, OH.

The GRACE Retreat will be here soon!  Ladies, there are a few spots that have just opened up.
